Where to begin? Tomorrow is 30 weeks! I figured it was okay to blog about 30 weeks today, since our "plan" (which in the world of IF, I learned... rarely actual happens as I plan) involves a delivery 10 weeks from today. Where has the time gone?
This is an exciting week! I'm on the Board of Directors for the local pregnancy crisis center. Our annual fundraiser is next week so we had a big meeting last night.
Tonight, I'm shopping for a dress to help camouflage my ever-growing rear end. (Yes, there happened to be a picture of my behind from my last shower, and it does not look cute.)
Wednesday night is a reception for our pastor who is leaving the church.
Then on Thursday, my 30 week OB appointment... and finally, on Friday.... drum roll please.....
THE 4D ULTRASOUND that I have been waiting so patiently for. Can you believe I have not seen this little angel is TWELVE WEEKS? That is entirely too long but it has made for some wonderful suspense. I can hardly wait! That night is our couple's shower. My best friend from law school is coming to town (and helping host the shower).
Then Sunday, is my fourth and final baby shower. I think it'll probably be my biggest one and yet, I already don't know where I'm going to put everything.
70 days until Baby! Wow... so this is what that feels like....

WooHoo!! 30 weeks is a great mile stone! we did the 4d ultrasound at 31 weeks. She had to have us come back 2 more times after that because our little guy had his feet in front of his face every time, little stinker. I hope you get some better pictures! It's fun though!

ReplyDeleteNo, no no... my regular pants can no longer even be pulled up over my hips, much less do they reach around the belly! (I mean, I can't even tell what they would do around the belly, since I can't even pull them up much past my knees without them straining at the seams). But I have some maternity jeans with belt loops sewn onto an elastic waistband! I've been wearing a belt with them, but no longer!!
Wow 4 showers...that is a ton of thank you's but Im sure you have gotten a ton of good baby items:)
ReplyDeleteThe 4 D will be really awesome for you...Im amazed at how much we see when we go for ours and our last one I think baby was like 19 weeks or so....Its amazing:)
30 weeks totally sounds SUPER preggo! Let the 10 week countdown begin, yay!! And 4D sounds super cool, you def. have to post pics from it!!
